Day 4 | Upper Mid-West Tour

We had another great today after seeing the Doug Hufford’s yesterday. We left out early this am to beat the traffic through Minneapolis and we were quite lucky again as the traffic was very light. Maybe everyone still works remotely on Fridays? 🤷‍♂️

Our first stop of the day was in Rothsay, MN at the Worlds Largest Booming Prairie Chicken.

That was a short stop. 🤤

Then back into the truck and stopped for gas and lunch before we finally made it to Jamestown, ND. Right off our exit was a Menards. I must say I was amazed at this store. It’s a combination of a Lowe’s,  Super Walmart, mattress store, and your local hardware store. They had a little bit of everything.

We are staying at another Harvest Host tonight, The National Buffalo 🦬 Museum, in Jamestown, ND.   There is a small Frontier Village as part of the whole scene.

They also have the Worlds Largest Buffalo.

We are staying on the top of a hill overlooking some of the prairie lands looking for some bison. If they get close I’ll take a picture. But I’m not crossing the fence.

Tomorrow we are off to the Roosevelt National Parks. There is a northern and a southern park. We are doing the northern one tomorrow and the southern one on Sunday.
